Sebastian Cremaschini is a PhD student in Science and Engineering of Materials and Nanostructures at the Physics and Astronomy Department of the University of Padova.
His main research activity concerns the use of microfabrication techniques and droplet microfluidics for biological applications, in particular for single-cell encapsulation, barcoding and sequencing. Moreover, he exploits photorefractive materials (iron-doped lithium niobate) for droplet guiding and manipulation over engineered surfaces.
